Transport for London has a programme of introducing liveable neighbourhoods in London in which public space is fundamentally redesigned to create healthy streets.

The aim is to reduce the dominance of motor traffic and reprioritise space for more sustainable, healthy and active travel and public realm improvements that can enhance the local environment and quality of life for local people.

Funding of up to £10 million can be applied for in an area to make major infrastructure changes and Harrow Council intends to submit a bid for Wealdstone.

Wealdstone is at the heart of the Council’s regeneration programme in the Harrow and Wealdstone Opportunity Area.

The Council want to hear what you think about the streets and spaces within the proposed liveable neighbourhood area and how they could be improved. The consultation is open until 23:59 on 31 October.
