We run a wide variety of activities that children and young people can enjoy while learning to become more independent. Our clubs are for children with a learning disability, physical disability or other disadvantage and young people aged 9-19yrs living in Harrow. We organise trips to stimulate children's minds and our priority is to keep them safe and comfortable whilst having fun. Each young person has individual needs and receives a coordinated approach with tailored plans.
Here at Harrow Mencap we are very excited about our 2017 re-launch of the 'After School' and 'Saturday Clubs'. We have given each club it's own identity and introduced new programmes and activities catering to individual needs.
Our children's schemes take place in a variety of locations across Harrow and provide stimulating and inclusive play after school, on Saturdays and during the holidays.
"This is a well run, diverse scheme that my child really enjoyed. She was excited about the next day's activities and the range and scope of the activities and visits was impressive. Well done and thank you."
