User Involvement Project

User Involvement supports people to speak up for themselves and to ensure that their needs, rights and aspirations are met.

What does the project do?

The project pays and supports people to go to:

• the Learning Disability Partnership Board
• sub group meetings of the Partnership Board
• conferences and meetings
• the Steering group, who organise the Learning Disability Forum.
• committees in day centres and workplaces around the community.

The project is also making information accessible by using pictures and accessible font size.

The Learning Disability Forum is held quarterly and dates are as below:

16th March 2010 /27th April 2010/ 22nd June 2010 / 21st September 2010 and 2nd December 2010 at St Peters Church, Sumner Road, Harrow,HA1 4BX from 10.30am till 2.30pm.
