Harrow Mencap is one of the Mayor`s Charity for 2011-2012
This is the main event of the year for Harrow Mencap. We are absolutely honoured by being made 1 of 2 Charities of the Year by The Mayor.
We are desperately looking for some reliable volunteers in 2012 to help with various aspects of Fund Raising for Harrow Mencap. Whether you have an hour every other month or are able to devote many more hours, we need your help to bring in those Funds to keep our Essential Services for our various clients with Learning Disability operating and to hopefully build upon them.
1.Supermarket Collections
In 2011 this generated our largest slice of Fund Raising Income .
Throughout 2012 we have in some months up to 24 days a month to manage Collections outside Supermarkets between 9am and 9pm . So if you can literally spare the odd hour to do this please contact me.
2.Schools and Colleges
If you attend one of these, be most grateful if you can contact me about any way you could help Fund raise for us.
3.Organising and Attending Events
We will hopefully be having a programme of Big Events Scheduled shortly and again any help you can give with the Organisation or Marketing of them will help.
4.Putting On Small Fund raiisng Activity for Harrow Mencap
